Working with the Woodland JC Penney store and the Salvation Army Service Center, Woodland Kiwanis donated $125 each to help 80 deserving students get new clothes for the new school year. Local Kiwanis volunteers also prepared breakfast for the kids and their families.
Said Kiwanis President Steve Barzo, "We contribute about $4,500 per year for this wonderful event, and we do the cooking. Just to be able to help the kids is a good feeling."
